HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SERVICE MY TAG HEUER WATCH?

You could ask one hundred watchmakers this question and you will get 100 different answers. Every watch requires maintenance, but how often it should be serviced depends on the model and it’s conditions of use. Generally speaking all mechanical Tag Heuer watches should be serviced every 4 to 6 years. When your watch is serviced it undergoes rigorous cleaning and checks. It is completely pulled apart and inspected for any wear or damage before being cleaned, reassembled and oiled.

Preliminary checks

  • Check of the functions of the movement, visual inspection for damage or wear and fault check

Case and band

  • Complete case dismantling

  • Case and bracelet cleaning prior to polishing and refinishing

Movement Maintenance

  • Dismantling of all components

  • Replacement of the worn parts

WATCH QC Operations

  • Water-resistance check according to model specifications

  • Final check of the movement with power reserve check
