Omega polish

Our watch polishing service entails the meticulous restoration and rejuvenation of a watch's exterior surface, aimed at enhancing its appearance by eliminating scratches, scuffs, dents and other imperfections. We Specialise in the Polishing and refinishing of Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer and Cartier but will undertake polishing on all watches.

How does it work?

Inspection: The process begins with a meticulous inspection of the watch to assess the condition of the case, bezel, bracelet, and other external components. This evaluation helps determine the extent of polishing needed to restore the watch to its original condition.

Cleaning: The watch undergoes ultrasonic and steam cleaning to remove dirt, grime, and oils from its surface. This step ensures that the watch is properly prepared for the polishing process, allowing for more effective results. Preperation is key!

Polishing: Using specialized tools and abrasives, the watchmaker carefully removes scratches, scuffs, and other imperfections from the watch’s surface. The polishing process involves multiple stages, compounds, wheels, mops and machines to recreate the original finish.

Restoration: For deeper scratches or dents, additional restoration techniques may be employed. These techniques can include the use of a laser welder to fill in deep dents or correct any wear or damage that has been caused. Laser welding is a crucial step in the refinishing process for watches, it allows you to add metal and precious metal to watches. Metal must be added so that you can maintain the correct case geometry and dimensions.

Final Cleaning and Inspection: Once the polishing process is complete, the watch is thoroughly cleaned again to remove any polishing residues. A final inspection is conducted to ensure that the watch meets the highest standards of appearance and quality.
